I Am More Than My Medical Record: Speaking at the Myeloma UK London Infoday
Heartbreak to Hope founder Sharon-Ann Phillips spoke at the Myeloma UK London Infoday at the Royal Society of Medicine about living with myeloma and being more than a medical record.
On Saturday 12 September 2026, I was honoured to speak at the Myeloma UK London Infoday at the Royal Society of Medicine.
My talk, I Am More Than My Medical Record, was part of the Living with Myeloma: Patient Experience session. I spoke about the long road to diagnosis and what it means to choose to truly live in the space between appointments.
Being in a room full of people who understand this journey, patients, families and the professionals who care for them, was something I won't forget. Thank you to Myeloma UK for the invitation, and to everyone who came up afterwards to share their own stories.
